Description

Directions :

    Bacterial cystitis.

    Dissolution of struvite stones .

    Management of recurrent struvite urolithiasis and calcium oxalate.

    In older dogs it is recommended that a check of renal function is performed before administering Canine Urinary .

Contraindications:

    Pregnancy, lactation, growth.

    Chronic renal failure , metabolic acidosis.

    Heart failure.

    Using urine acidifying drugs .

    Hyperlipidemia.

    Pancreatitis or history of pancreatitis episodes .

Duration of treatment:

For the dissolution of struvite uroliths or elimination of a UTI Canine Urinary administer required for a period of 5-12 weeks. To prevent a recurrence Canine Urinary should be administered for at least 1 month after a negative result in bacterial culture of urine.

Urinary S / O Canine effectively helps dissolve struvite stones . An acidified urinary pH is unfavorable for the growth of bacteria , which are usually associated with struvite stones .

Urine unsaturated creates an environment where they can not grow the calculations. Thus the development of struvite and oxalate is prevented.

Urinary dilution decreases the concentration of struvite and oxalate. The larger urinary volume also ensures regular bladder .

Magnesium is a component of struvite stones ( uroliths amonicomagnésico phosphate) .

Additional Information :

A moderate increase in the sodium content causes dilution of the urine by acidifying it ensures effective prevention of struvite stones , besides creating an unfavorable environment for the formation of calcium oxalate stone setting. Canine Urinary is indicated for the primary treatment of stones before identifying them.
