Directions:
- Anorexia - Malnutrition.
- Nutritional support in intensive and post-surgical care.

- Tube feeding *.
- Feline hepatic lipidosis.
- Pregnancy, lactation, growth.
For probes with diameter less than 10 french, we recommend using Convalescence Support Instant Diet or dilute a volume of Recovery in a volume of water.
Contraindications:
- Hepatic encephalopathy .
- Hyperlipidemia and acute pancreatitis .

Additional Information :
They usually have increasingly two energy levels in dogs and cats hospitalized :
Level 1: Cats and nursing dogs confined in a cage. It is recommended to achieve the Energy Requirements Nursing (REM ) according to the formula:
RER ( kcal / day) = 70 x ( body weight in kg ) 0.73
Level 2: hot dog completing her period of convalescence , or maintenance. It is recommended to achieve the Energy Requirements Maintenance ( REM ) according to the formula:
Dog: REM ( in kcal / day) = 132 x ( body weight in kg ) 0.73 . The amount of food should be reassessed according to the clinical evolution of the animal. If anorexia, progressive feedback program is recommended:
Anorexia with < 3 days: plan to meet the requirements in 3 days: Day 1 : 1/ 3 of requirements , day 2: 2/ 3 of requirements , day 3: full requirements .
Anorexia by > or = 3 days: plan to meet the requirements in 5 days : Day 1 : 1/ 4 of requirements , day 2: 1/ 2 of the requirements , day 3: 2/3 of the requirements , day 4: 3/4 requirements , Day 5 : Total requirements.
